Hailing from Fenton, Michigan, RWB bass man Andy Barancik is a 20-year veteran of the instrument whose rich musical background is rooted in gospel music. He started off playing music in church but dabbled in various other styles of music in his spare time. In the mid-1990s Andy enjoyed major label success with "Full On The Mouth" a Michigan rock act signed to the Pioneer Music label. (Before being signed to the label the band was known as "Lost Tribe").The group released one CD titled "Collide" and toured the US, playing the Warped tour and other high-profile venues and events before disbanding in 1999.
When FOTM dissolved Andy returned to his hometown and started his own business. Eventually he also was ordained into the ministry and he remains a pastor at his father's church, Faith City in Fenton. (Yes, he's a pastor!) Andy enjoys playing in his church band, operating his own business and raising a family with the love of his life, his beautiful wife Kristen.
One night while having dinner at Beale Street Smokehouse & BBQ the Baranciks ran into Rusty & Laurie who were giving one of their duo performances. Andy and Rusty knew each other from their "heavy music" days. Rusty asked Andy if he'd be interested in auditioning for the band. After receiving a serious crash course in blues music Andy stepped in and took to the blues like he was born for it and a few months later RWB was opening for legendary performers like Etta James and performing at highly respected blues festivals across North America, like Bayfront Bluesfest in Duluth Minnesota.
